System of a Down is labeled as a "Metal" band but they are really in a whole league of their own. Their music ranges from screamo, to some hardcore singing, and there are even some songs that are more alternative. System of a Down was first officially started in Glendale, California in 1995 by lead vocals Serj Tankian and Daron Malakian, lead guitarist and backup vocals. They have since released five amazing albums and three EP's with fourteen amazing singles.
